As the festive season approaches, a special event returns to Mantua, bringing together the tradition of Christmas gift-giving and solidarity. Fondazione Marcegaglia is once again organising “Un dono per Natale” (A Christmas Gift), a charity Temporary Shop that brings businesses and local residents together to support the Foundation’s projects.
Join us on:
Saturday 28 and Sunday 29 November 2026
From 9:00 am to 7:00 pm
Piazza Matilde di Canossa 2 (former Ristorante Canossa), Mantua
Held with the patronage of the Municipality of Mantua, the event is part of the 2026 Christmas Campaign, “The Future Begins with an Opportunity”, which supports education, vocational training, employment opportunities and pathways to independence for young people and women in vulnerable situations in Italy, Rwanda and Pakistan.

A Wide Range of Gift Ideas, Thanks to the Support of Businesses
Once again this year, the Temporary Shop will be made possible by the generosity of companies that have chosen to support Fondazione Marcegaglia by donating their products.
Visitors will find a wide selection of items, including clothing, accessories, jewellery, homeware, beauty products, speciality foods, wines and many other gift ideas. It is an opportunity to find something special for friends and family while contributing to a meaningful cause.
The involvement of businesses is essential to the initiative. By donating their products, companies provide valuable resources, while visitors to the Temporary Shop can support the Foundation’s projects through their purchases.
This collaboration is what makes “Un dono per Natale” more than a Christmas shopping event, creating a connection between the local community, participating businesses and the initiatives supported by the Foundation.
Every Purchase Helps Create New Opportunities
The Temporary Shop will contribute to Fondazione Marcegaglia’s 2026 Christmas Campaign, built around three key actions: learning, working and starting anew.
In Rwanda and Pakistan, the Foundation supports vocational training and literacy programmes that help young people and women acquire valuable skills for their future. In Italy, its work also focuses on employment opportunities and supporting women who have experienced violence as they work towards greater independence.
Every purchase at the Temporary Shop will help support these initiatives, turning the simple act of choosing a gift into a meaningful gesture of solidarity.
This Christmas, your gift can open the door to a new opportunity.
