WHO WE ARE

Fondazione Marcegaglia Onlus is the participation foundation, established in 2010 by the Marcegaglia family of entrepreneurs: Steno Marcegaglia, his wife Mira, their sons Emma and Antonio with Carolina Toso Marcegaglia, who has been entrusted with the presidency.

The Foundation reflects the spirit that animated the steel processing company founded in Gazoldo degli Ippoliti over 50 years ago and become a Group with 50 plants worldwide: entrepreneurial excellence has always been accompanied, with discretion, by sensitivity to numerous social issues.

VISION

Building a world in which social disparities are increasingly reduced and the role of women valued.

MISSION

Supporting women, the engine of the growth and development of their families and communities.

INTERVENTIONS

Solidarity and cooperation projects in the socio-health sector in Italy and abroad.

WHAT WE DO

Marcegaglia Foundation supports solidarity projects through funding to organizations rooted in the area or directly through operational partners.

Abroad, the Foundation supports development projects focusing on female entrepreneurship through the start-up of work and the creation of micro-enterprises and the development of local health systems.

In Italy, it supports interventions aimed at combating social exclusion, domestic violence and new forms of poverty, particularly in the areas where the company is present with its factories.

NETWORKING

We facilitate relations between institutional, private social and entrepreneurial entities to ensure the effectiveness and sustainability of the interventions.

CAPACITY BUILDING

We support projects that can guarantee beneficiaries information, knowledge and tools to grow and become protagonists of change.

The Board of Directors of the Marcegaglia Foundation is made up of: Carolina Toso Marcegaglia, Antonio Marcegaglia, Emma Marcegaglia, Avv. Andrea Carreri.
